MBE-0061 - VR2 Controller for the Golden Buzzaround CarryOn (GP130) Power Chair

VR2 Controller for the Golden Buzzaround CarryOn (GP130) Power Chair

This is the Golden replacement controller (power module) for the Buzzaround CarryOn GP130 folding power chair. It is the electronic brain of the chair: it takes the signal from the joystick and sends power from the lithium battery to the two center drive motors, and it also controls the electro-mechanical brakes.

Golden lists the GP130 with a 40 amp controller from the VR2 family. The VR2 system uses a separate joystick and controller, so if your joystick lights up but the chair will not drive, flashes a fault code, or stops and starts on its own after the battery and connections have been checked, the controller is a common part to replace.

Before ordering, make sure your chair is a Buzzaround CarryOn power chair (model GP130), not the Buzzaround CarryOn scooter (GB120) or CarryOn HD (GB220), which use different electronics. Turn the chair off and remove the battery before you unplug or install the controller.
