24 Volt 5.0 Amp XLR Off-Board Battery Charger for the Golden Avenger (GA531/GA541)

This 24 volt, 5.0 amp off-board charger plugs into the 3-pin XLR charging port on the Golden Avenger (GA531/GA541). It charges the scooter's two 12 volt 22NF batteries and works with AGM or gel batteries. Just set the selector switch to match your battery type.

Use it to replace a charger that stopped working or has a damaged cord or plug, or keep it as a spare. It runs a 3-stage charge and then holds the batteries in float mode, so it's safe to leave plugged in overnight. LEDs show power, charging and fully charged.

Good to know: Golden's own charger for the Avenger is an 8 amp unit (MBE-CHG80A-STD). This 5 amp charger works with the same batteries, it just takes longer to bring them to a full charge. For sealed lead-acid (AGM or gel) batteries only. Do not use it on lithium batteries. The charger won't start if the batteries are below about 18 volts, and a pack that low usually needs replacing.
