24 Volt 3.5 Amp XLR Off-Board Battery Charger for the Golden Compass Sport (GP605SS/GP605CC/GP605) Power Chair

24 Volt 3.5 Amp XLR Off-Board Battery Charger for the Golden Compass Sport (GP605SS/GP605CC/GP605)

This UPG 24 volt, 3.5 amp off-board charger plugs into the 3-pin XLR charger port on the Golden Compass Sport (GP605SS / GP605CC) and the newer Compass Sport (GP605) power chairs. It has the same 3.5 amp output as Golden's own charger for the Compass Sport (MBE-CHG35A-STD) and charges the chair's two 12 volt 35 Ah U1 sealed lead-acid batteries.

It's the one to grab if your original charger stopped working, the cord or plug is damaged, or you want a spare to keep at home or in the car. It runs a 3-stage charge, shuts off automatically and then holds the batteries in float mode. LEDs show power, fast charge and float charge.

For sealed lead-acid (AGM or gel) batteries only. Do not use it on lithium batteries. The charger won't start if the batteries are below about 13 volts, and a pack that low usually needs replacing.
