1" Steel Live Axle with Hardware for Go-Karts & Dune Buggies

This AlveyTech 1" live axle is a solid steel replacement rear axle for go-karts, dune buggies, and other small off-road machines built around a 1" live axle. Choose a 36", 40", or 44" length. Each axle comes with two lock nuts and two flat washers, so you have what you need to finish the job.

A 1/4" keyway runs the full length of the shaft, so your sprocket, brake hub, and wheel hubs can be keyed in wherever your frame needs them. The last 2" of each end steps down from 1" to 3/4" and is threaded 3/4"-16 (fine thread) for the included lock nuts.

It's time for a new axle if yours is bent or wobbles, the keyway is rounded out or chewed up, or the threads are stripped. Building or stretching a kart? A longer or shorter axle is an easy way to change your track width. To pick a size, measure your old axle from tip to tip and choose the closest length.

Before you order: the 1" diameter is measured to the nearest hundredth of an inch, so bearings, hubs, and sprockets should have a 1" bore or one that's very slightly larger. A tight or undersized bore may need light fitting. Please confirm your size requirements before ordering.
