Torque Converter Belts for Go Karts & Dune Buggies

Monster Scooter Parts offers go-kart torque converter belts for most makes and models of go-karts. We carry the go-kart V-belts for those using the 97cc and 196cc Honda-clone engines, up to the 50cc, 125cc, 150cc, and 250cc GY6 powered karts and dune buggies.

The torque converter on your go-kart or dune buggy is a type of Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), using a clutch and variator assembly with power transferring by way of the V-belt. This remarkably simple invention caused something of a revolution in small engine technology, along with the now ubiquitous GY6 engine.

Variable speed belts (V-Belts) are dimensioned as follows:

669-18-30

669 (First number in the series) = The length of the belt in millimeters.
18 (Second number in the series) = The width of the belt in millimeters.
30 (Third number in the series) = The angle of the teeth on the belt.
