It has the same 3.5 amp output as Golden's own charger for the Compass Sport (MBE-CHG35A-STD) and charges the chair's two 12 volt 35 Ah U1 sealed lead-acid batteries.

It's the one to grab if your original charger stopped working, the cord or plug is damaged, or you want a spare to keep at home or in the car. It runs a 3-stage charge, shuts off automatically and then holds the batteries in float mode. LEDs show power, fast charge and float charge.

For sealed lead-acid (AGM or gel) batteries only. Do not use it on lithium batteries. The charger won't start if the batteries are below about 13 volts, and a pack that low usually needs replacing.

Need new batteries? U1 35 Ah 24 Volt AGM Battery Pack (Set of 2) for the Golden Compass Sport (GP605SS/GP605CC/GP605) Power Chair

Fits: Golden Compass Sport (GP605SS / GP605CC) and Compass Sport (GP605) power chairs
Charger model: UPG 24BC3500T-4 (71699)
Alternative to: Golden MBE-CHG35A-STD (3.5 amp)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0627/6943/0690/files/24-volt-3-amp-xlr-battery-charger-upg_3.jpg?v=1774749287
