CTL1707200 - 29V Transformer (ZB-A290020-U) without Battery for Pride VivaLift! Lift Chairs

This genuine Pride transformer is the power supply for most Pride VivaLift! lift chairs, including the Atlas, Atlas Plus, Elegance, Escape, Legacy, Metro, Radiance, Tranquil, and Urbana. It converts household AC power into the low-voltage DC power that the lift motor runs on. It's the same transformer Pride supplies in its ELE1707199 kit, sold here without the lithium backup battery.

The ZB-A290020-U plugs into any standard household outlet, accepting 100-240V AC at 50/60Hz (1.6A), and supplies 29.0V DC at 2.0A (58W) to the chair. Like the lift motor it powers, it's rated for intermittent use, with a maximum 10% duty cycle and up to 2 minutes of continuous run time, which matches how a lift chair is normally used.

This is the right choice if your chair's transformer has failed but your backup battery is still in good shape, since you can move your existing battery over to the new transformer. If you also need a battery, add the BAT1707202 lithium battery pack, or choose ELE1707199, which includes both.

If your chair won't raise or recline, first check that the wall outlet works and that the power cord and motor cable are firmly connected. If those check out and the chair still has no power, the transformer is the likely culprit.
