The Merits Dualer (P312) comes standard with a power elevating seat, letting you raise the seat about 5 inches to reach kitchen counters, store shelves, and tabletops without straining. When that lift stops working, the chair still drives but the seat stays stuck at one height. This seat lift motor assembly is the replacement that gets it moving again.
It's a complete assembly: the electric lift motor, gearbox, and telescoping lift column that supports and raises the seat, with the wiring and plug-in connector that ties it into the chair's electrical system. Replacing the whole unit means you don't have to track down and rebuild individual worn components inside the actuator.
If your Dualer's seat won't raise or lower, makes grinding noises during lift, or moves unevenly, a failing lift motor is a common cause. Check the seat lift switch and wiring connections first, then swap in this assembly to restore full seat height adjustment.
