This 10-button hand control replaces the original remote on Flexsteel power lift recliners with power headrest and lumbar, including the Oscar (1590-55PH fabric, 1591-55PH leather match, or 375-72), Atlas (1913-55PH), Kenner (1912-55PH), Jenkins (1914-55PH, also labeled 039-01), Shaw (1916-55PH), Stewart (1918-55PH), Walsh (Levin Furniture's name for a Flexsteel 19XX-55PH frame) and Gerard (Raymour & Flanigan's name for a Flexsteel triple-power lift frame). It also fits the Mega Motion iNFI Attain (MM-3603), Lay-Flat Chaise Lounger (MM-3702) and iNFI Immerse (MM-8945).

It's the Moto Motion HSW310-B-KBA-1, which replaced the HHC HSW310-B-FS-9V that originally came with Flexsteel chairs. It's the same remote as the original, just without the Flexsteel logo. The original came in black or cream/white, and the label on the back may read "HHC Control Wands" or "Moto Control Wands" depending on its age.

The 10 buttons work in five up/down pairs for the headrest, lumbar, backrest, footrest and lift. It has a 40-inch coiled cord with a straight 5-pin quick-connect plug, plus a built-in USB-A port (5V, 2.0A) for charging a phone or tablet. The buttons light up, and the rubberized coating gives it a comfortable grip.

Is the Remote the Problem?

First make sure the chair is plugged into a working outlet and the power supply (usually on the floor behind the chair) shows a green light. If the chair cuts out at random, or only works when you wiggle the cord near the remote, the remote is the likely cause. If the remote has power but one function is stuck, such as only the footrest, the control box or a motor is more likely at fault.

Installation

Unplug the chair from the wall first. The remote plugs into the motor or control box under the chair, or into the extension cable if your chair has one. There's no reset or pairing. If your chair has memory or battery backup and doesn't respond after the swap, unplug the power supply for 60 seconds, then plug it back in.

Note: Compare the button layout in the photos to your current hand control before ordering. If the buttons don't match, this control won't work as a replacement.
