Description
Description
This 196cc 6.5 Hp engine is a replacement for the original engine on the Coleman BT200X, CT200U Trail and CT200U-EX mini bikes. It is the widely used single-cylinder, air-cooled "Honda-clone" design, and it includes the manual pull start, air filter, carburetor, fuel tank, muffler, single magnet flywheel and spark plug. It does not include a charging coil.
Choose your shaft size. During production of the CT200U Trail and CT200U-EX, Coleman changed the engine drive shaft and clutch bore from 3/4" to 5/8". Select the size you are replacing. The 3/4" option is the engine alone. The 5/8" conversion includes our standard 3/4" engine plus a 3/4" bore clutch assembly with a 10-tooth #420 chain sprocket, because 5/8" shaft bikes need both the engine and clutch retrofitted.
Installation notes: Like any aftermarket replacement engine, it may not bolt straight on. You may need minor changes, such as re-drilling the motor mounts so everything lines up. You will also need to reuse the throttle mechanism from your old engine.
Need other engine parts? See the Three Magnet Flywheel or a Charging Coil.
